Laborer/Construction Assistant

About the Job
Responsibilities:
  • Perform physical labor on construction sites.
  • Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling.
  • Load and unload construction materials and equipment.
  • Clear debris and maintain a safe, organized work area.
  • Assist tradespeople with blind and shade installations.
  • Operate small tools and equipment such as drills, hammers, and pallet jacks.
  • Follow instructions, safety procedures, and project plans.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Previous experience as a general laborer in the construction industry required.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more consistently.
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and hardworking.
  • Comfortable using basic hand tools and equipment.
  • Strong awareness of workplace safety practices.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience assisting with installations or construction finishing work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
